Since 1916, Winchester Country Club has been providing its members with services and programs for the whole family. Whether using the pool, enjoying a round of golf on on our 18-hole golf course, playing tennis or simply relaxing with the family for an evening meal, you will be impressed with the quality of our staff and the variety of activities available.
The Golf Shop at Winchester Country Club is where many of our members first experience the hospitality and quality service of our staff. As the best stocked golf shop in town and a staff with combined experience of over 70 years in the business, it's a virtual certainty that your golfing needs and questions can be answered in a professional, friendly, and most importantly, genuine manner. Robert Baldwin, a 36 year PGA member who was just named the Kentucky Section's 2011 Professional of the Year, is joined by son Robbie, also a Class A PGA member, and veteran teaching professional Bob Sipes as the anchors of the staff.
The practice facilities at our country club include a 25 tee driving range along with an expansive practice green. The driving range and practice green at Winchester Country Club are kept in excellent condition throughout the year. Our kitchen provides the area's best food and beverages at reasonable prices. When dining at the Club, you can choose from our casual "19th Hole" dining area or the more formal dining room. Our restaurant features daily lunch and dinner specials, with a Family Night buffet every Friday evening. Our Sunday brunch buffet offers your choice of breakfast, salad bar or family-style lunch, and is a favorite of many Club members.
Whether celebrating the wedding of your family member or simply enjoying New Year's Eve, the Winchester Country Club offers a calendar-filled year of festive activities including Derby Day and golf tournaments dinner/dances. The Winchester Country Club has an Olympic size swimming pool. Our pool is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times for the safety of our swimmers. Our competitive swim team is comprised of approximately 100 kids ranging from 3 to 18 years and participates in the Central KY Swim Conference. We have four tennis courts available for year-round use. A Tennis Coordinator is on staff from Memorial Day through Labor Day to conduct free clinics for our youth and coach the tennis team which participates in the Central KY Tennis Association.
